We headed down to Rowan’s Tenpin in North London to put UK garage game changers Harvey and Mega from the, still unparalleled, genre dons So Solid Crew to the test on the lanes. In between stints on the alley, a heated bout of Sega Rally and some trademark So Solid havoc on the penny drop machines the lads chatted to us about comebacks, the evolution of the genre they helped create and their iconic stage shows. Their bowling game might need a little work but after creating one of the biggest tunes of the year with UK Hot Wid It it looks like their mic game is stronger than ever. Dear Crack Reader, We can still remember when we saw a notification telling us that you ‘like’ our Facebook page. It was 11pm on a Friday night, and we were still proofreading a forthcoming issue. Although the ‘like’ was such a delicate gesture, when we saw that little red square pop up, we blushed like teenagers. And since then you’ve read our features, you’ve gone to gigs we’ve recommended, you’ve politely pointed out typos in our news pieces and you’ve sniggered at our hatchet reviews. We can’t imagine life without you.
